Role Description:

• Teach a range of subjects at the IB level or lower.
• Develop IB curricula.
• Conduct other duties as required, including mentorship, operations, and university and boarding school advisory.
• Position will be based in Hong Kong.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of the IB curriculum and experience in teaching a range of IB subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable U.K. or U.S. university.
• Knowledge or personal experience with at least one of the following curricula: GCSE, A-Level, Cambridge Pre-U, IB and/or AP.
• Enjoy tutoring children and young adults and helping them improve academically.

Qualifying candidates will ideally have:

• Experience with teaching and familiarity with the U.S./U.K. boarding school system and/or university admissions process.
• Experience or knowledge with U.K. or U.S. entrance exams (UKiset, Common Entrance, Pre-test, SSAT, SAT, ACT, etc.).
• Internationally recognized teaching qualifications such as the PGCE, CELTA, DELTA and TEFL is a plus.
• Loves working with children and young adults.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
