Job Description

Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager (Operation and Service), the appointee will be required to:

  • Design and manage Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme and industry promotion functions for the PMSA;
  • Liaise with stakeholders on the development and provision of CPD programmes to meet the needs of the industry;
  • Work closely with accreditation and assessment organisations on the quality assurance, validation and accreditation of CPD programmes;
  • Oversee relevant publication or promotion activities;
  • Formulate and implement CPD policies, guidelines and procedures based on needs and expectations from stakeholders;
  • Monitor CPD activities organised by external activity providers including property management firms, trade associations, professional bodies and educational institutions, etc.; and
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • A recognised university degree in Education, Training or a related discipline;
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant working experience, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory role;
  • Experience in public sectors, authorities or relevant industries will be an advantage;
  • A good team player with a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem solving skills;
  • Independent and able to work under pressure; and
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

 

Terms of Appointment

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  An initial 3-year contract will be offered to the successful candidate of the post. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
