Job Description

Monthly Salary Range: HK$32,840 – HK$54,550

Duties:  The appointee will be responsible for overseeing part-time programmes in Chinese languages (Putonghua and Cantonese), philosophy and Buddhism studies.  He/she will perform programme management and administrative duties.  The scope of duties includes admission, programme development and promotion, preparation of course materials, course delivery, invigilation, complaints handling and preparation of annual budget and monitoring reports. He/she will also assist in planning annual events (e.g. School Open Day) and other special projects as required.

Requirements:  Candidates should have a Master’s degree or above with relevant work experience in teaching Chinese language and managerial position. They should have good communication and people management skills, as well as excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

Terms of Appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
