Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Handle project works for patent application grant scheme and patent analysis
  • Organize marketing and promotion events on IP protection and management, seminars and training courses on intellectual property
  • Conduct patent search analysis, compile reports, and handle patent database, etc
  • Liaise with vendors to deliver IP projects and monitor progress
  • Provide support in developing new consultancy services in intellectual property (IP) management

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree from disciplines such as Engineering, Science and/or Technology Management or equivalent with 2 years’ working experience
  • Relevant working experience in patent search field or IP management services an advantage
  • Able to understand the basic contents of a wide range of technology in the areas of electronics, mechanicals, chemistry, etc
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines and a good team player
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Applicants may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
