Job Description
Scope:
- To ensure successful industrialization of Coffee Machines at OEM Suppliers in China with particular focus on achieving quality targets and delivery dates. The office is located in Hong Kong.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that documentation of quality requirements of Tchibo are complete at OEM suppliers for the coffee machines.
- Plan and Conduct audits of quality organizations and processes at OEM suppliers and their first-tier suppliers.
- Make sure that timely communication, meaningful reporting and alignment with quality organization of Luna/Tchibo takes place in line with quality regulations.
- Derive specific proposals to accomplish quality improvements of products from quality assurance tests, lifetime tests and feedback from customer service in the markets.
- Control and follow-up of agreed measures of quality improvements with reference to the technical design of products as well as production processes at OEM suppliers and their first-tier suppliers.
- Continuous and regular check of quality requirements in regard to the coffee capsule machines and production. Proper documentation of all test results and measures in regard to quality assurance of the products.
Professional Skills:
- Graduate with Master or Bachelor technical/engineering degree majoring in mechanical engineering, design technology or process technology & engineering.
- Experienced in development and quality assurance of household appliances. Considerable experience and a high interest in topics like „Internet of things“ and connected devices (Smart Home) are desired.
- Profound knowledge and experience in Quality Management.
- Experience in project management
- Working experience in above mentioned fields of at least 5 years.
Personal Skills:
- Intercultural Experience and capabilities being able to communicate between organizations in China and Europe in an efficient way.
- Fluent in English; Knowledge in German is advantageous
- Available for frequent travel to suppliers in China Mainland, residence in Hong Kong desired.
- Assertiveness, good negotiation skills, enjoys working in a team, demonstrates high degree of commitment, sense of responsibility and willingness to take decisions.
