Job Responsibilities

• The selected candidate will be working with ACE to support and commission our suite of graphics and video playback products for the broadcast and digital industry.
• This job may require a significant amount of travel for setup of new systems as well as on-site support.
• The selected candidate will also work with internal and external customers over the phone and via remote support sessions. Typical tasks are installation, configuration, documentation, training, testing and bug fixing of assigened items
• Provide support for the Video Software and turnkey computer, video hardware, software installation for the project and demo of Professional broadcast video equipment.
• Knowledge on TV broadcasting
• Knowledge on Computer software / hardware of video switching / CG / tv program operation / Experience in scripting would be an advantage
• Knowledgeable in configuring/troubleshooting RAID arrays
• LAN/WAN technology and TCP/IP; Network management skills is a must
• Capable to maintain and install Windows 7/8/10/Server, video software applications supports across Windows PC and Mac.

Job Requirements

• A recognized higher diploma in a relevant discipline, plus 2 year’s relevant work experience; OR
• A recognized diploma or higher certificate in a relevant discipline, plus at least 2 years’ relevant work experience;
• Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of TV broadcasting ‘s computer hardware, networking and television engineering; Technical operations experience in production company/TV station is definitely an advantage
• Hands on for Servers PC Networking support, Servers set up and back up, Security, network management, brand of technical / applications related issues supporting.
• Good interpersonal , ability to work independently and be a good team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills of English, Mandarin & Cantonese are required.

Physical Demands

• Requirement to set-up and tear down equipment – involves lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, stooping, cabling, etc…
