Our client, a global leader in 3D Printing is searching for a potential candidate to assume the position of Senior Field Applications Engineer in order to support their growing business.

Job Duties

• Pre/Post-Sales Application Support:
• Provide advanced application technical support to increase and maximize customer satisfaction and return on investment.
• Accelerate the sales cycle, increase profitability-to-loss rate and increase average selling price by providing professional and influential technical support.
• Develop self-sufficiency, and the ability and confidence of resellers through product training, 1:1 guidance and support.
• Provide comprehensive and relevant onsite presentations to distributors and prospects/existing customers.
• Produce the highest quality parts for sales/markets and partners in the fastest time according to application requirements.
• Provide initial and continuous training for distributors and strategic customers.
• Vertical Application Adoption of Consumer Products:
• Responsible for exceeding the market penetration goals and customer success in consumer products market.
• Jointly execute market penetration plan with direct sales teams and indirect reseller network
• Work with marketing and sub-regional teams to maintain support for 3D Printing systems, materials and applications.
• Provide training to ensure consistency and improve the ability of sub-regional and regional teams to optimize part quality.
• Provide key support for exhibition team.
• Help with regional testing of new hardware and software products.
• Application Training:
• Train regional teams with advanced applications such as finishing, polishing, silicone molding and more.
• Provide regular technical updates of best practices and processes
• Help the company’s partners in the region to produce and distribute sample kits
• Drive application deployment (training) through effective and efficient channels

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D or Manufacturing
• Excels at execution and project management and able to meet challenging deadlines with minimal resources
• Skilled and comfortable presenter in small, medium and large audience environments
• Experience in 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks and/or Catia), Mimics Consumer Products software, and prototyping a plus
• Excellent problem solving skills & ability to work well with others.
