Summary:

Designs, develops and implements web-based application to support business requirements; follows approved life cycle methodologies, prepare documentation, and performs program coding and testing; resolves technical issues

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interact with users globally to understand the business requirements and assist to design adequate IT solutions
• Develop, test and implement in-house systems, perform application tuning and offer UAT support
• Prepare business and technical documentation on IT solutions and design
• Solve both business and technical problems, and offer IT support to business users
• Assist to evaluate open-source or vendor software solutions and do Proof-of-Concept to verify applicability when needed

Experience /Qualifications:

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
• Min. 3 years in IT, with solid experience in Web Application development
• Hands on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, RESTful API, J2EE, Apache, JBoss, MySQL and Linux is a must
• Familiar with common web scripting and frameworks including AngularJS, AJAX, JQuery, Struts, Hibernate, etc.
• Previous exposure in SOA, Design Patterns and ITIL is a definite asset
• Knowledge in Mobile Application development is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and able to work independently
• Able to complete projects on time, and follow the industry's best practices
• Self-Motivated and a good team player
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer or System Analyst
