Aloha! Wahtiki Island Lounge is an authentic Tropical Tiki Bar in LKF
Headed by our Executive Director with over 45yrs in opening and running multiple award winning Tiki outlets in Europe, Middle East and Asia, we aim to be the Tiki brand of choice for the drinks scene, and to do that we seek passionate, dependable, reliable bartenders. We believe in learning the bar trade that is measured in years rather than months. By this time, you will be an expert in the field.

We are seeking people with little or no experience behind the bar. Training will be from scratch. Come and learn real tiki cocktails and how to be one of the fastest bartenders in the industry.

General Duties

• Making cocktails and beverages maintained in a consistently high standard set by Wahtiki
• General bar duties in terms of cleanliness, orderliness, stock and inventory control
• Help to develop a professional system of training and best practice to be applied to all bar operations.
• Customer service excellence
• Learn how to set up and document computerized stock and inventory control
• Learn how to set and maintain sales targets for beverage unit/bar
• Assist training of barbacks according to set Wahtiki standards

Qualifications

• Passion to learn about the Tiki and cocktail industry
• References proving dependability, professionalism, and overall good attitude
• Demonstrable track record of being a true loyal team player who thinks for the business and the team
• A track record of compliance to quality bar operation standards
• High EQ and calmness especially in busy, quiet, and or difficult times
• Competence spoken English and/or Cantonese
