The incumbents will take part in research and development ofvarious technologies for the local industries.

Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the centre and he/she is required to:

• Provide software support & algorithm development in either one (or more) of the following areas:
• Deep learning;
• Robot vision & sensors;
• Natural language processing (NLP);
• Digital signal processing (DSP)
• Participate in algorithm implementation and /or simulation of mobile/industrial robots for logistics applications;
• Evaluate technology options;
• Carry out experiments/trials for validations; and
• Other ad hoc engineering assignments.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• PhD in Software/Computing/Electronic Engineering or related disciplines;
• Expert in computer imaging, vision, NLP and DSP;
• Deep knowledge/Hand-on experience of algorithm developments of the following areas:- machine learning, robot vision, NLP and DSP;
• Familiar with different programming languages (C, C#, C++, OpenCV, Python as well as Tensor Flow, Caffe, etc…);
• Proactive, self-motivated and good communication skills;
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience; and
• Immediate available is definite advantage
