The incumbents will take part in research and development of sensory, AI and robotic technologies for local industries.

Responsibilities:

The appointee will provide support in research & development activities of the centre and he/she is required to:

• Provide assistance in Robotics and automation, Robotic vision, AI, Mechanical design & Motion control;
• Assist other R&D activities such as design, analysis, development of software/hardware and system integration etc.; and
• Other ad hoc engineering assignments.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• Master/Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related disciplines;
• Knowledge/experience of some of the following areas will be an advantage:
• CAE software (for example Solidworks, MATLAB, Protel, HFSS and OpenCV, etc.);
• Robotic and AGV – electronic system design;
• Microcontroller programming;
• FPGA design and firmware design;
• Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and
• AI and deep learning
• Minimum 5 years relevant post-qualification experience;
• Immediate available is definite advantage; and
• Candidate with less experience may consider as R&D Engineer.
