Leading IT Consulting Group with strong presence over 5 continents is kicking off a new round expansion across Greater China region. Operation size of more than 200 built up in Hong Kong during the past 4 years and now they are looking to reinforcing their capacity in retail/luxury, financial service and TMT industry.

An experienced BD director is pursued to join the regional commercial team, taking over some existed accounts and jumping on new initiatives.

Top management level support will be provided to this role when they try to make the meetings happen. Also delivery team will join the meetings to support the role to win the projects.

To better handle this position, a certain amount knowledge in either Retail/FMCG or TMT will be required, but we are not looking for a domain expert, as long as the person gets basic understanding of SI company or IT solutions would be fine. 

The right person needs to be a real 'rock star', able to build relationships and pick leads and moving forward to make meetings happen.

You would be only focusing on one sector.

Detailed requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of experience on a professional Sales/ BD position
• Working across the Retail/FMCG/TMT/Financial Service Sector, institutionalizing relationships between the IT consulting service group and respective organisations
• Support account and corridor programs, working together with clients/partners to collaborate on joint market initiatives and assist them with their technology/digital transformations
• Self-starter, takes initiative, confident and outgoing personality, but humble.
• Well organised and able to work with account assistant on complex BD agenda.
• Good Command of both English and Chinese
