Job Description
Our Client is a Global Post-Trade Financial Solution Provider and they have a Development Power House based in Hong Kong and they are looking for a Senior Developer to join this lean scrum team. There is a lot of R&D to enhance this award winning product and due to the expansion, they need a potential team lead to join this young team.
They would prefer someone from Financial Services background but it is not a must, the business areas this firm would cover would include Treasury, Trade Confirmation and Capture, Settlement, Regulatory Compliance, Accounting and Finance – mostly middle to back office applications for both Buy and Sell Side. This person will mentor and lead the development process, design, development, QA, implementation, research and other ad hoc tasks too. This is an exciting role for those who have high standards in development, love coding and technology and be creative with the product.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- 5-10 years in C++ (Unix)
- Good SQL knowledge especially in Oracle would be preferred
- Understanding of trade cycle especially middle to back office function would be highly preferred but technological skills and mindset is the most important requirement
- Good English and Cantonese skills
- Candidate with less experience can be considered as Software Engineer
