Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the design effort and select the products, frameworks and design patterns that most closely match with our functional and non-functional requirement
- Write high quality code based on best-practice frameworks and design patterns
- Focus on continuous improvement and instill this culture in the team members
- Review the code and deliverables produced by the development team to ensure high quality outputs
- Perform system analysis, design, programming, implementation and ongoing support of financial applications
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 3+ years solid experience in Java and/or C#, SQL (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server or MySQL),
- Experience using common design patterns
- Knowledge of test-driven development and continuous integration
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate (or the .NET equivalent) is an advantage
- Experience with frameworks such as Microsoft WPF is an advantage
- Experience integrating open source technologies to deliver solutions is an advantage
- Experience in developing financial applications is an advantage
- Self-motivated, independent with strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
