Reports to: Test Center Manager

General Responsibilities: Has responsibility for testing CPU and memory product. This includes quality inspection and go/no go decision on electronic components. Involved in the inspection and testing process and insures that proper disposition is taken relative to the quality and usability of a part. Operates testing tools and equipment.

 Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

 1)     Insures the testing area and work station is clean and well organized.

2)     Maintaining daily activity logs for product tested, pass, fail as well as reason for failure.

3)     Ensures proper platform is being used for particular processor.

4)     Sorts passed and failed product in separate trays. Maintain records of failed product including reason code as well as procurement source and buyer.

5)     Maintaining documentation of tested product (quantities, type, etc)

6)     Maintains company records of product specifications including testing platforms.

7)     Install and configure test software when required.   

8)     Responsible for wearing required equipment including anti-static wrist strap and exercising caution while handling product. Also required to test anti static wrist guide and record any failure on ESD daily log.

9)     Responsible for maintaining test equipment and reporting any performance issues to Test Center Manager.

10)When required, responsible for visiting manufacturer websites (e.g. Intel) to research product specifications.

11)Segregates inventory both physically and within internal systems to ensure adequate inventory coverage and organized activity workflow.

12)Assist in continuous improvement of processes related to inspection and testing as well as for learning and disseminating information relating to testing parts.

13)Maintain and provide monthly reports related to testing.

14)Work with the Test Center Manager to further strengthen and improve testing  processes.

15)Suggest improvements in workflow and equipment to make inspection more efficient and effective.
