Job Description
Our Client is a global tier Bank and with their expansion on Hong Kong footprint, they are looking for a high caliber candidate with AIX, Linux Engineer to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform server hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance
- Perform AIX, Linux, WAS and SAN design and administration tasks
- Overseeing and implementing/recommending configuration and performance tuning, both hardware and software to ensure an improvement in system reliability and performance.
- Monitor and identify performance and security issues and escalate or resolve
- Developing and maintaining appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current.
- Support IBM SAN and related servers and appliances
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Studies, Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support and internetworking experience
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments and client server technolog
- Knowledge in Red Hat Linux 6/7 IBM AIX and Websphere v8.5 or above
- Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012
- LAN and WAN network management
- Programming Language: JAVA
- Possess a strong technical background in system administration and operation skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
