POSITION PURPOSE:

A Senior Consultant are required to work with customers to develop goals and strategies for the design and implementation of advanced, technology driven business solutions. They are required to integrate the business needs and the technology solution, and are expected to perform the effective diagnosis of client issues and manage client relationships at senior levels.

Provides consulting services, including solution development, implementation and project closeout at customer sites, assists sales teams with sales activities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Takes the lead in gathering and analysing client’s business requirements.
• Develops customer solutions to meet business requirements, also by partnering with 3rd Party alliances (if applicable).
• Ensures software solutions are delivered to customer expectations and requirements by developing project plans, assigning resources, monitoring progress and taking corrective action where necessary.
• Maintains extensive knowledge of solutions, technologies, processes and procedures, and keeps up to date with industry and business sector developments.
• Works and collaborates with others on consulting projects and special projects as assigned.
• Provides reliable delivery of targeted project results through role as expert in the application of specific SAS methodologies, projects and technologies.
• Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.
• Installs SAS software solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes as assigned.
• Participates in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of SAS offerings.
• Leverages detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains
• Oversees the technical progress of ongoing services
• Works proactively with others for the purpose of cross-training and knowledge transfer

Experience and Knowledge:

• Degree holder or above
• 8 years proven experience in project delivery and implementation
• Experience in Insurance Industry is highly preferable
• Knowledge of SAS products, experience in SAS related consulting project
• Data Warehousing, Analytics and Data Mining experience essential
• Understanding on data requirement for the above areas
• Effective written and spoken communication in both English and Chinese
• Good team-player, self-motivated, result-oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure
