Our client is a global financial institute and is looking for multiple highly skilled AS400 System Analysts within the Life insurance domain. The System Analyst will work with various departments and individuals within the company and work to resolve and improve the functionality of the processing system.

Responsibilities:

• 6 years development of life insurance systems experience on AS400 platforms using RPG / RPGLE language
• Responsible for system analysis providing technology design, managing the system development life cycle, working with internal IT development team and vendors
• Analyze user requirements, develop, test and document program changes
• Provides maintenance and support
• Performing other duties as assigned                    

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of years of programming experience
• In-depth knowledge on life insurance products and respective work processes
• Strong analytical skills and experience using tools (UML or Rational) to gather requirements in a structured manner
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from management and supervisors
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Programming preferred
• Communications skills in English and Cantonese (preferred)
