Our client is a global enterprise leading firm and is looking for a technically sound Blue Team IT Security Associate to oversee the cybersecurity defense. Strong communication is required for the role, as you would be required to present report findings or work with stakeholders across various functions.

For more experienced candidates, this role could offer further regional exposure and the supervising of a small team. For more developing candidates, you can expect to be mentored by a very seasoned and knowledgeable manager.

Responsibilities:

• Review anti-virus protection status, and conduct vulnerabilities scanning.
• Review Security Events, provide investigation and remedial action.
• Provide daily operational real-time monitoring and security analysis.
• Presentation of report findings to senior management.
• Assist in security new systems/application project implementation.
• Work with the IT Management and IT control teams for security guidelines and implementations.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in hands-on technical IT Security experience, ideally with experience across cyber security.
• Hands-on with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS / Qualys, AppScan etc.) and/or Penetration Testing Tools (Acunetix, Nessus, Nmap etc.)
• Knowledge and experience with financial industry is a plus.
• Security Certificates in CISSP / CISA / CISM or equivalent is a great plus.
• Degree from a reputable university.
• Good communications skill in English and Cantonese.
