Job Description
Our Client is a Tier 1 Global Buy Side Firm and they are recently going through some restructuring and they are in need for a new DBA to support all the Databases for the Front to Back office applications. You will work with the Global application team, infrastructure team as well as vendors therefore this is a highly dynamic role.
Duties:
Provide DBA support for the SQL Server 2012/2014/2016 which supports the Investment related applications
Perform regular maintenance, upgrade and patches and ensure stability of the databases
Enforce Database security
Fine tune and provide recommendation whenever possible
Prepare documentation and generate ad hoc reports as requested
Research on the latest technologies on database
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in IT or equivalent
3 years+ in MSSQL DBA, good with T-SQL and strong performance tuning skills
Good with database design, development and analysis
Fluent in Cantonese and English
