Responsibilities:

Contract to a government department and be responsible for project management and system implementation for the Midrange application systems. Manage and supervise project team composed of systems analysts and programmers for:

• Development and implementation of application systems on midrange platform;
• Providing support for the architectural design of the web-based application framework for the system; and
• Providing technical consultation and support to other project teams and computer operations for the projects.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 8 years IT work experience;
• Minimum 3 years experience as Project Manager or similar capacity;
• Solid experience in project management, and leading systems analysts and programmers for application development and implementation;
• Solid experience in systems analysis and design and application programming for developing web-based applications with Java, Javascript, J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, and DB2;
• Good knowledge in web-based application system architecture design;
• Experience in contractor management;
• Good communications and interpersonal skills; and
• Experience in government projects.
