IT Retail is responsible for operation and support of our global Point-of-Sale (POS) application and devices including related POS and backend processes and interfaces from and to our ERP system and we are looking for an experienced candidate to cope with rapidly changing retail business environment in Asia Pacific.

If you have a strong technical background as well as very good analytical and communication skills, this is the position for you. The successful incumbent will be based in our HK team and reports to the Corporate IT Application Services team “Retail Backend and Point of Sale Technology”.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Installation, maintenance and monitoring of POS Hardware/Software
• Evaluation and testing of POS Hardware/Software
• Ensure smooth operation of the retail system landscape
• Analyze problems and drive the vendors in fixing them
• Support other Retail team members in project activities
• Consult our internal partners regarding new requirements (Change Requests)
• Proactive suggestion of technical improvements in order to optimize the system performance and monitoring tools

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or any related fields
• At least 3 years’ experience in POS and ERP application implementation or support
• Thorough understanding of business process and requirements, particularly in the retail sector
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must with interest in international team work
• Initiative, independent, patient, strong problem-solving skill & able to work under pressure
• Knowledge of SQL query language, basic database architecture
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and application programming skills
• Good team player
