My client, a leading Global FinTech Innovator & Product Provider, specialising in banking and insurance technologies, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Architect to join their expanding Hong Kong team. Reporting to the Country Head of Hong Kong and the Regional Director of Asia, you will be responsible for the following:

• Architect and design enterprise-grade, product-based software solutions 
• Design and code superior technical enterprise and mobile solutions
• Consistently deliver high-quality services and manage expectations effectively 
• Actively contribute to corporate knowledge base and suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
• Effectively employ different database design techniques - preferably Oracle, DB/2 and/or MySQL
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of Java/JEE application design and hands-on development - preferably on WebSphere, WebLogic and/or some OSGi compatible application servers
• Create well designed, reusable software artefacts

• 8 -10 years pf relevant working experience as software architect and/or development lead
• Proven expertise in systems integration and product based design and development experience
• Possesses knowledge of mobile application design/development (preferably on iOS, Android and/or device-independent frameworks/HTML5)
• Experience with Eclipse, Linux, GIT, JavaScript, REST, Web Services and/or JMS is important
• Strong knowledge of application security (client/server, mobile applications, SSO, OWASP etc.) and systems performance concepts is important
• Strong Relational Database knowledge and experience i.e. implications of different database designs etc.
