Our client a leading MNC is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work with the Head of Insights where you will be responsible for building distributed components, systems, and tools to help grow and support the data and analytics offering within the business. You will be working across the business helping the teams grow from a data and analytics perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement the technical roadmap of the analytics function 
• Deliver the data lake, set up infrastructure to support processing of data from multiple data sources
• Build ETL pipeline and manage the ETL development process 
• Design and implement data warehouse architecture
• Collaborate with multiple teams to identify opportunities to manage data and provide solutions for complex data feeds 
• Implement strategies for data warehouse additions and enhancement
• Manage and lead a small to medium sized data projects
• Act as an internal expert in each of the data sources to own overall data quality

Role Requirements:

• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in high data volume environments, degree holder in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Engineering or a related discipline
• MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field is ideal
• Hands-on experience in gathering technical and business requirements, data mapping, ETL development and Data Warehousing
• Strong experience in the setup and implementation of cloud infrastructure
• Strong system analytical skill and architectural design ability of robust distributed systems
• Passion for data and business intelligence and an interest in moving towards big data, cloud and advanced analytics projects
• Proficiency with Python, noSQL and SQL environments
• Experience with Java or API integrations is a plus 
• Experience with open sourced technologies – Kafka, Hadoop, Hive
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker is a plus
• Prior project management experience will be highly preferred
