Job Description

Our client is a prestigious group known for its luxurious brands that is recognized worldwide. With strong growth continuing in Asia Pacific, there is an opportunity for an ambitious and motivated professional to join as the Global IT Service Manager.

Based in Hong Kong and report directly to the Global IT Director, the selected candidate is accountable for developing and implementing an overall IT Service Management, commitment to providing efficient, professional support service and hands-on support to local and regional end-users. 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 support to HK office and stores including end users computers hardware, software, servers, network equipment, and video conferencing, and Tier 2 support guidance to global IT staff and IT support partners.
     
  • Provide immediate support to incident impact to the regional sales or finance operation.

  • Proactively monitor IT service present in regional offices and stores.

  • Identify technology needs, work with the regional business to deliver IT value and support the delivery of IT solutions.

  • Manage regional service management budget and vendor service contracts.

  • Manage procurements of hardware and software.

  • Assist in selection / integration with vendor/partner relations in the region.

  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including for standard, new joiner/leaver, new business, new office, new store, purchasing, computer and software installation procedures, knowledge management, service catalogue and disaster recovery.

  • Develop IT asset management guidelines.

  • Establish service level agreement with vendors; provide guidance to IT operation and infrastructure team members and vendors.

  • Act as project manager or project members to support corporate and global IT infrastructure projects.

  • Perform regular IT assessment to regional end user’s computers, software, servers, data backup and systems/data recovery.

  • Chair monthly meeting with regional IT managers and IT partners to review all incidents, service request and projects status.   Produce the IT Service Management Report.

  • Oversee incident and change management process and associated operating procedures.

  • Setup end-user training for continue and new infrastructure and applications projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline.

  • ITIL and PMP qualification.

  • Minimum 7 years related experience in IT sector, out of which 2 years of managerial experience in service management: ITIL, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request, Asset, CMDB Management.

  • Experience working in retail fashion industry is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical understanding of the various hardware, software and networking systems.

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow Platform and Wrike. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Vendor management experience is preferred.
