Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), the incumbent will assist CRO to manage (a) Architecture – covering system architecture & roadmap, standardisation of software and technology components; and (b) Governance – covering system services management, technology risk management, project governance and management.

Major Responsibilities

• Review and refresh IT architecture and roadmap, work with technology teams to lay down implementation plan and monitor its’ execution
• Define, develop and manage common architectural components and conduct feasibility study on new architectural components (e.g. cloud computing, distributed ledger technology and other FinTech initiatives) and recommend adoption
• Manage technology risk management process and assess the effectiveness of controls regularly to identify risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Maintain and enforce project governance and management framework
• Manage the system services management team including the formulation and execution of best practices for incident and problem management

Requirements

• University education in information technology or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years computing experience of which 8 years at managerial position in financial industry
• Over 5 years practical experience in establishing and managing enterprise-wide system architecture
• Strong knowledge in emerging technologies including cloud computing, distributed ledger technology and other FinTech initiatives
• Well experienced in project governance and management
• Exposure in technology risk management & IT services management function
• Proficient in technical writing and business communication and presentation
• Good planning and organization skills
• Good thought leader, influencer and team player
