Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management, support to all IT facilities including server, storage, network, printing and end user desktop
• Building and maintaining rapport with business and provision of support for all users enquiries and needs
• Identify improvements to system behavior, control tools and to monitoring tools
• Run projects that continue to improve the availability, stability, performance and security of the system
• Proactive management and monitoring of the environment, together with extensive problem identification, ownership, resolution or escalation
• Provide feedback and work with external vendors, business users to manage IT projects through planning, design, development and deployment stages on longer-term application requirement
• Alignment of operational activities to the company standards, technical vision and roadmaps

Desired Experience:

• Proven track record in supporting IT infrastructure and end users technology in securities firm or banking industry
• Thorough knowledge in the overall technology areas including infrastructure, network and server farm, software development, web solution, storage technologies, risk and control and the best practices of industry
• Experience in Windows Technologies like Active Directory, IIS, Windows Server 2008
• Hands on experience in Storage/Network/Web technologies would be added advantage
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective interaction and communication with internal and external users, developers and vendors
• Strong customer support and results oriented
• Ability to handle stressful environment and work independently
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills on highly complex problems
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Assistant Manager or Desktop/Sever Administrator

Qualifications:

• College degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
• ITIL V3 Foundation certification in IT Service Management
• Holder of IT Technical certificates such as MCP/MCSE/CCNA/CCNP

Language (Required):

• Excellent in verbal and written communication in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
