Job Brief

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate users and prepare user requirement analysis for different retail products, including Point – of – Sales (POS) system, eCommerce, CRM, Web site management etc
• Act as the key interface among business users, vendor and operations
• Drive test script development, prepare test plans and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT)
• Supporting project implementation - develop project charters and preparing business cases
• Maintain proficient working knowledge of application development methodologies; lead integration of new technology trends
• Recognize and articulate business and technical decision trade-offs
• Engage in solutions design, configuration and/or development
• Develop and maintain solid partnerships with related personnel and departments
• Ensure adherence to and support of Group IT governance policies while maintaining strong customer service orientation
• Explore, identify and document business requirements (exposing root cause) understanding and prioritizing dependencies
• Perform business analysis, business process re-engineering, requirements gathering and problem solving in support of a specific business user community
• Develop gap analysis between existing and proposed functionality of business applications
• Contribute to the usability and performance of applications by acquiring user feedback and cross-referencing business processes with application usage
• Serve as the business systems knowledge source and collaborate with users to solve functional problems and create new business processes
• Consult with support and project teams to gather current processes and functional requirements to design systems improvements and optimize application and technology use
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’ s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science
• Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
• Hands on experience on .Net, JavaScript, HTML, SQL
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Solid Experience in Point-of-Sale (POS)
• Experience in SAP MM/SD, eCommerce, CRM and marketing project is a plus
• Sound knowledge in generating process documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills in both English & Chinese.
• Fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin is a plus
• Candidate with less experience will also be considered as Assistant Business Analyst
