Job Description

Job Requirements : 

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Mac administration support :- Supporting MAC Desktops, Notebooks, Technical issues
  • Must be proficient with the MAC environment OS X(10.7 & later) : MAC 9.X, 10.X , which includes Mac OS X system administration and applications, including OS configuration, troubleshooting, and knowledge of applications including MS Office, Adobe, Parallels, VMware Fusion, Apple Remote Desktop, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Quark etc.
  • Should be able to support and handle break-fix situations on Mac Hardware : Desktops like iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, Mac Notebooks like Mac Book Air, Mac Book Pro and IOS devices like iPAD & iPhones
  • Possess understanding of Mac OS architecture.
  • Able to perform command line troubleshooting to resolve individual application failures : Should provide identification/fixing for the problems within existing systems. Troubleshooting day-to-day Mac related issues, Capable of doing root cause analysis of any specific Mac related issues
  • Possess Knowledge of Windows 7 and above , Printing : Should be well-versed in Migration Techniques from Windows to Mac and vice versa, Managed Printing etc
  • Centralized System admin : Knowledge on one of the Centralized System Administration tools like Absolute Manage, Casper Suite, Addigy etc.., is preferable
  • Ticketing tool : Should have worked on ticket tool system to log User issues/support , exposure to ServiceNow is preferred
  • Inventory management : Candidate should keep inventory updated for all deployed and decommissioned PCs
  • VIP and VVIP Support : Exposure to VIP and VVIP support and High touch support experience to end users
  • Knowledge of PC support functions : VPN, PC hardware , MS office applications, SCCM, etc
  • Cross functional support ( Remote Hand and Eye) to Server and Network Teams : Well aware of Servers hardware, Network switches, Patch Panels, Console ports and cables etc
  • Audio /Video Support : hands-on knowledge on Audio and Video conference systems
  • Ensure timely follow up with Customers and Vendors : Liaise with Vendors for  hardware issues and coordinate with them
  • Team Player : Should be a good team player and open to learn new technologies.
