IT System Security Architect (Officer/ Manager)

The Role:

•   Work on major, more complex IT architecture projects with full competency. Secure enterprise information by determining security requirements, including planning, implementing, and testing security systems, preparing security standards, policies, and procedures, and mentoring team members.

• The person should apply hardware engineering and software design theories and principles to researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces. Provide integrated systems planning and recommend innovative technologies that will enhance the current system.

• Recommend the appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy. Coordinate the activities of the project team and assist with monitoring project schedules and costs, as needed.

The Person:

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Information System or relevant disciplines
• 3+ years of experience in IT architecture, modeling, and process models with architecture modeling tools, including System Architect, ProVision, or Visio
• Experience with supporting financial market data information system projects is a advantage
• Experience with the development of a security reference architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of business or system scenarios, requirements, and mission factors
• Experience with applying a structured approach and methodology to the development of an enterprise security architecture
• Ability to verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of enterprise IT & security architecture
• Ability to apply strategic thinking and leadership expertise to big picture strategy and solutions to complete and deliver tasks
• Ability to obtain a security clearance required
• Good team player and able to work under pressure
