Job Description

Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, Multimedia Services Team Leader 

Please note this position is based in Tokyo, Japan. We are inviting Hong Kong applicants who wish to relocated to Japan for a period of at least two years. Visa sponsorship will be provided.

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for our Tokyo based Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Support Team. Candidates should have at least five years proven leadership experience in a technical, multimedia or IT environment providing direct technical support services to corporate clients.  

The team leader will be responsible for daily operational management of the local Tokyo team. He/She will work along side regional senior management and client management to assure the quality and consistency of audio visual, video conferencing, event technical support services provided locally and remotely for the region.  You will work to develop and grow both the team and the service in line with client requirements and changing technologies. 

Strong client service experience supporting end users is essential. 

 

Desired experience includes; 

  • 5 years management, leadership experience 
  • Direct audio visual, event and video conferencing support experience preferred. 
  • Experience managing IT, telecommunications or other technical services for end users acceptable in liew of audio visual and video conferencing experience.  
  • Process improvement or related process management experience or training 
  •  At least 7 years corporate client service experience.  
  • English fluency at business levels. 
  • Japanese fluency desired but not required.  

 

Core Responsiblities 

  • Managing daily team operations 
  • Interacting with client management to match technical services to client requirements.  
  • Providing mentoring, team training and development. 
  • Managing escalations and providing problem resoulution  
  • Monitor and assure both service quality and SLA performance levels. 
  • Provide ongoing reporting to senior managers and service delivery manager 
  • Manage monthly reporting  
  • Work with client management to evolve and develop services to meet changing technology. 
  • Oversee event production and management 

Note this position is based in Tokyo, Japan. However we are open to considering applicants from abroad with direct experience.
