Job Description
Service Engineer will be responsible for entire post-sales service support cycle with a team in order to maximize revenue and service quality based on company products and to facilitate customer relationship by providing service management professionally and efficiently. A good candidate performs professionally to win the trust from customers and keep customers highly confident in the services offered by Nexusguard.
Responsibilities
- To possess not only expertise on technical implementation but also strong customer and operation sense.
- To balance all the aspects, the candidate can then maximize the customer satisfaction and profit while keeping the pre-sales and operation in good shape.
- To possess an excellent teamwork spirit as communications to every departments, including sales and marketing, operations, infrastructure, product teams, are needed in the regular jobs.
- To coordinate, compromise and enforce accordingly at the same time in order to balance between the expectations from different teams and from the customers.
- To communicate with assigned accounts, expectation setting and negotiate priorities appropriately are expected by managing customers.
- To be an escalation contact for customer support issues
- To serve as a reliable, accessible and effective escalation point for the customer on any operational matters or on implementation progress-including afterhours support via mobile as necessary
Requirements
- Degree holder in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ISPs, MSSPs, hosting providers, or Internet solution vendors;
- CCNP/ JNCIP certificate is an advantage;
GIAC/CEH/CISSP certificate is a plus; - Solid experience and knowledge in TCP/IP, IGPs, BGP, GRE and DNS is a must;
- Experience in BGP peering/transit routing policy management and tuning is a must;
- Experience in planning, configuring and troubleshooting SP networks is preferred;
- Experience and knowledge on DDoS mitigation technologies and solutions is a huge plus;
- Sound knowledge on modern Internet technologies and businesses;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Good command of both English and Chinese;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellence in project and time management;
- Occasionally travel to other offices or customer sites.
