Our client is a leading retail & manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for multiple decades. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Head of PMO to lead an exciting portfolio of IT initiatives that involve some of the latest cutting-edge enterprise technologies.

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to IT Director, the incumbent will lead a growing Regional PMO department that facilitates all IT projects across the group’s 8 countries. The projects will relate to but not limited to IT Enterprise Solutions, IoT, Retail Solutions, Digital/E-Commerce and Manufacturing Solutions. You will ensure all projects are aligned with corporate governance and company policy meanwhile they are delivered according to project scope, cost, timeline and benefits. This will involve building strong rapport and relationship with cross-functional stakeholders across all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for IT professionals with a strong background in PMO to take on a regional leadership role within a stable in-house environment meanwhile ownership of an array of exciting projects.

To qualify, the individual must possess

• University Graduate in related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience with considerable years in both Project Management and Programme Management
• Excellent capacity to lead stakeholders and build cross-functional rapport
• Proven experience in successfully leading and facilitating teams in project and portfolio resource planning, reporting, prioritization, and budgeting
• Proven experience in defining application blueprint and roadmap Experience in using PPM tools
• Experience in implementing project management methodology and governance framework (such as Prince II, ITIL, COBIT) a plus
