Key Responsibilities

  • Manage key business projects in relation to the delivery of applications within the business divisions of Vistra
  • Work closely with the Business System Managers and team, external consultants and suppliers and manage associated costs
  • Work with the project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
  • Manage the project schedule and keep a tight control on timelines, project dependencies and risks
  • Prepare and manage updates to SteerCo and the project team
  • Escalating issues to sponsor / SteerCo
  • Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution
  • Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members and resolve any issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining practices and facilitate / train for continuous improvement;
  • Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum 8 years of solid experience as a project manager and change manager on small to medium scale software implementation projects with a proven ability to lead consulting engagements
  • Experience in rolling out business system applications in financial/professional services organisations is highly advantageous
  • Proven track record of successful management of simultaneous projects
  • Demonstrated experience working within a dynamic environment of change
  • Minimum degree holder
  • Qualified in recognised project management discipline (Agile/Scrum)
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in Lean Management Frameworks, documentation standards and project life-cycle planning
  • Strong attention to detail and top notch organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to assignment conditions; flexibility to cope with particular constraints
  • Excellent skills in complex stakeholder management and negotiation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the tenacity, confidence and resilience to deliver high quality results
  • Any project management software
  • Professional fluency in written and oral English
  • Additional fluency in any other languages is a bonus
