Our client is a top-tier global insurance company with strong presence worldwide.  To further strengthen their market positioning, the company has added a new headcount for an Assistant Manager/Manager, IT Security to join their team.

As an Assistant Manager/Manager, IT Security, you will be responsible for the following:-

• Identify and mitigate weak points that might make information systems vulnerable to attack
• Protect company against threats such as security breaches, computer viruses, or cyber attacks
• Adopt, develop, and implement policies which encourage secure working and data protection
• Increase company security awareness, explain security risks, and promote best practices
• Assist in development IT strategy, prepare annual IT budget
• Coordinate IT audit activities
• Support regulatory audits
• Ensure implementation of remedial actions

To be considered for this role as an Assistant Manager/Manager, IT Security,you possess the following:-

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• At least 10 years of information services / technology experience within large financial services firm, of which 3+ years in a leadership role
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not a must
• Prior experience in IT security, IT audit, IT planning, IT budgeting is an advantage
• CEH, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM certifications are preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
