Our client is the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company with operations in 54 countries.It provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a diverse group of clients. They are now seeking for talents to join their team as System Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• To understand business processes and requirements and implement proper information technology solutions
• To provide daily application support
• To provide technical solutions, database administration, application performance and problem resolutions
• To liaise closely with the business to be actively involved with developing and improving the business process in line with the corporate policy and procedures
• To manage the changes with regards to timing, priority and importance
• To identify and propose proper information technology solutions to achieve business goals
• To devise project plans and assist the business to define the project scope
• To identify and contain project risks
• To ensure program development adhering to the standard and procedures of SDLC and change controls
• To coordinate all SDLC activities including requirement analysis, development, testing and rollouts
• To provide technical advices for project implementation and daily support
• To ensure a regular review of the database integrity and performance

Requirements:

• University degree in Computing and substantial work experience in a progressive environment
• Prefer 4-5 years experience in either Java/Cobol, less experience will be considered
• Good command of English and Cantonese -written and spoken and spoken Mandarin is a plus, and able to communicate and interact with all levels of people
• Good knowledge in programming languages like Microsoft .Net
• Experience with RDEMS systems like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
• Ability to establish priorities and a course of action for handling multiple tasks
• Ability to work as a team and maintain effective relationship with others
