Job Description
Our Client is a Global Fintech Firm that trades different APAC Equities Market electronically. They have a few high performance trading applications that are built on Linux and they are looking for an Infrastructure Support to oversee the trading systems as well as other infrastructure setup for the office. This is a small but profitable company and the structure is very flat.
Responsibilities:
- Provide user support to internal users, traders and quant analysis
- Design and setup Linux servers that are linked to the Trading Engines
- Provide network support for Hong Kong and China office
- Constantly improve the scalability of the application server
- Sometimes work during public holiday is necessarily as they trade different markets
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science
- 5 years+ in Linux System Engineering experience
- 3-5 years in Cisco and network troubleshooting
- Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic working environment, and able to provide 1st line support also, willing to have meetings/projects after regular office hours
- Fluent in English
- No prior Financial Services experience is required
