Job Description
A Global Insurance Company with mainly business in general insurance is now looking for:
Head of Sales (Automotive Insurance)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the distribution management strategy for the Automotive business
- Deliver the revenue growth through the development and cultivation of strategic partnerships
- Initiate and facilitate agencies & local brokers’ understanding of the Company’ s underwriting appetites and capabilities
- Oversee the negotiation & conclusion of contracts with key partners through appropriate propositions and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and deliver upsell and cross selling opportunities from new enquiries and existing portfolio
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate externally and internally with colleagues in the underwriting, marketing and operation teams
- Conduct market analysis to position the Company’s business in Automotive in line with market potentials.
- Provide training and coaching to the team to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
- Liaise with internal compliance & audit to ensure that processes are compliant at all times
- Able to tailor the Value Preposition of each product to the assigned accounts to show value in helping clients to meet their business objectives in their industry
Requirements:
- Degree Holder, preferable with Master in Management or Marketing related disciplines
- Holders of ACII / ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent would be an advantage
- Min 6 years or above working experience in agency or broker distribution management of General Insurance industry
- Prior experience in general insurance or automotive industry-related business development role are highly desirable
- Successful track records of prospecting new business through agency & broker partnership
- Business acumen with high level of leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
