(candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Underwriting Analyst)

The position is primarily responsible for the timely reporting and analysis of Accident & Health key portfolio management metrics across multiple product lines and functions for the Asia Pacific Region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide data update and analyses on the Accident & Health Insurance portfolio and prepare all relative reports within deadlines
• Responsible for administrating data to support portfolio management tools
• Provide support on product pricings and/or accounts
• Assist in account management initiatives i.e statistic research, policy terms written and management
• Provide support on regular portfolio reviews
• Contribute to reserving works under the lead of the A&H and actuarial managers
• Assist the team in conducting ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in analytical or MIS role.
• Experience in insurance industry will be preferred.
• Associate Degree / Degree in Statistics, Computing, Science or Actuarial Science
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory
• Sound Knowledge in Data mining - SQL, SAS or similar skills is desirable
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, both verbal and written
