Position Objectives:

Monitors and manages underwriting team to ensure the whole team works smoothly. Make sure the workflow is consistent to the company guidelines and maintain their high standards which is enviable of the industry.

 Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team for underwriting duties
• Monitor and manage the quality, efficiency of the team
• Underwrites complex insurance task to ensure the underwriting decision meet with business objectives
• Enhance the system automation to improve the efficiency on underwriting and relieve the manual workloads
• Providing training materials and conduct training to junior underwriters and internal staff
• Perform underwriting quality reviews
• Handle enquiries from agencies, internal departments and business to facilitate daily operations with high quality customer service

Requirements:

• Degree Holder or working experience in related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years solid underwriting experience in life insurance with at least 3 years in a supervisory role in a life insurance field
• Possess good technical medical and underwriting knowledge minimum USD$750k Authority
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation skills with ability to communicate well
• Good leadership and team building skills
• Proficient in PowerPoint presentation, Excel, written and spoken English and Chinese
