Responsibilities:

• Perform statistical portfolio review and analysis in accordance with business needs and produce useful reports as necessary 
• Monitor and compile reports for product performance monitoring, renewal retention, average rates, etc.
• Monitor underwriting results and make recommendations for action to correct any adverse trends
• Assist supervisor to manage overall underwriting performance of main class of insurance to ensure sustainable profitable business growth
• Participate in internal controls and reviews to ensure full compliance with company policies & ISO standards, corporate governance and regulatory requirements 

Requirements:

• Degree holder with major in Quantitative Analysis/Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Studies or related disciplines
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in underwriting, risk management or statistical analysis
• With exposure or knowledge in General Insurance is preferable
• Proficient in MS Office (especially in Excel), having good understanding in statistical & database software like SAS/Tableau will be a strong advantage
• Strong numerical and analytical sense
• Good team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
