Job Description
The incumbent will assist in carrying out the actuarial modelling operation including regular home office, IFRS and statutory reporting; and financial management of the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate value reporting (new business value and embedded value) in a timely manner in fulfilling Group / Regional Guidelines.
- Perform investigation on the financial condition in respect of the Company’s long term business, dynamic solvency testing (DST) per AGN7
- Provide regular fulfillment cash flows and duration reporting as per the requirement from Regional in respect of ALM initiatives.
- Conduct experience studies regularly and ensure the actuarial assumptions are supported by emerged experiences.
- Assist in special projects assigned, e.g. RBC QIS and IFRS 17
Job Requirement:
- University graduate or equivalent
- ASA or near ASA
- At least 2-3 years working experience in actuarial valuation in life insurance industry
- Experienced Prophet user
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications
