Job Description

Job Descriptions:

 

  • Manage the daily operation of the kitchen part, including to ensure the taste of Seorae food
  • Oversee day-today operations of restaurant including staff training and coaching team member for continuous product standard and enhancement.
  • Train up the junior staffs to know more about Korean food and basic Korean language
  • Manage the team to deliver a good customer service to the customers to sustain the brand’s image
  • In charge of manpower arrangement and delegation of appropriate person to appropriate duties
  • Ensure hygiene standards are kept at all times.
  • Sourcing of high-quality suppliers/negotiate with Korean suppliers
  • Manage the monthly reports of the forecast of revenues and expenses, sales analysis, budget and stocks control
  • As a communication bridge between Korean parent company to deliver the group high standard requirement as well as to coordinate with the head chef to create new menu for Korean culinary dishes
  • Record and handle daily monetary transactions
  • Handling documents/receipts in Korean
  • Inventory control and ordering materials for daily operations
  • Ensure overall restaurant quality control

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in similar position in upscale Korean restaurant and 3 years’ experience at manager ground, especially in a Korean BBQ part and sizable restaurant.
  • Degree holder in culinary management.
  • Qualification/Certificate in Korea food/cuisine is an advantage
  • Having training and working experience in operating restaurant in Korea would be an advantage
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Korean dinning culture and traditional Korean food
  • Native in Korean & Proficiency in Chinese is a must
  • Excellent management and organizational skills with the ability to build and motivate teams.
  • Good analytical, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to food quality excellence and proficiency in cost and budget controls
