Job Description
Manufacturer of garment with headquarters in Hong Kong and factories in Dongguan and Vietnam – main items are woven garment, outerwear, jackets and bottoms etc mainly for US, European and Canadian market – we are looking for a MERCHANDISING ASST GENERAL MANAGER – with details as follows :
- Tertary education in Marketing, Business Management, Textiles/Clothing or a related discipline
- At least 15 years’ relevant experience in the sales and manufacturing in garment
- Experience in woven garments / outer wear / jackets / bottoms is highly prefer
- Strong leadership, self-motivated, high level of integrity, good team player, sophisticated interpersonal skills with all levels
- Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English, including Putonghua
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Report to the Deputy Managing Director
- Lead Merchandising Department of 10 direct subordinates
- Prepare and implement annual budget and business plans to meet or even exceed the financial and non-financial KPIs as approved by management
- Support the Board of Directors in formulating business policies and plans
- Set goals and develop strategies for business development of Adult’s apparel through new product development, new customer and market development
- Monitor the business performance and take remedial actions when necessary
- Supervise work from product development, sourcing, costing to bulk production and logistics
- Organize regular review meetings with the sales, merchandising, purchasing and production teams and build an environment for higher productivity
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and other departments to ensure customer orders to be completed on time and up to requirements
- Recruit, develop and motivate employees so as to maintain an effective talent pool
- Source and make recommendations on vendors, including materials suppliers and production subcontractors
- Ensure and maintain high customer satisfaction, and participate in resolving problems or complaints from customers, if any

- Annual leave : 17 days
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
