Our client is a subsidiary of a sizable MNC listed in the UK.It provides electronic products (own products) by using OEM suppliers, and it is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Job responsibilities:

• Negotiate key commercial and contractual requirements with stakeholders to ensure cohesive approach
• Supplier Relationship Management - Commercial management, analysis and assessment of suppliers.
• Develop and apply comprehensive knowledge and insight of suppliers
• Market research to ensure well versed with market, component and technology developments.
• Conduct regular product, market and supplier research and analysis as required, including cost breakdown analysis of products
• Regular meetings with suppliers to develop understanding and identify efficiency improvements for whole supply chain, including distribution network.
• Work with key suppliers to ensure they have visibility of  product roadmap and forecast and are able to support demand plans.
• Understand the suppliers ongoing investment plans, changes to line capacities and roadmaps
• Develop and drive category strategies.

Job requirements: 

• Tertiary Education or above in Business Administration, Procurement or other related disciplines
• Sound commercial acumen, capable understanding complex business issues
• Minimum 10 years Procurement experience of manufacturing and supply chain procurement for technology hardware (Electronic components)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, specifically with keyStakeholders and External Suppliers
