Job Description
Jobs Responsibilities
- Identify & develop the sourcing strategies, source & purchase raw materials at competitive price;
- Source new suppliers to support projects development & cost reduction;
- Liaise with suppliers to keep continuous improvement on services and performance;
- Monitor and evaluate the reliability of the suppliers on products quality & on-time delivery;
- Work closely with factories independently & lead a team of subordinates for preparing purchasing orders, quotations, price comparisons, regular purchase forecast and inventory control reports;
- Monitor inventory movement and purchasing needs;
- Frequent business travel to China factories in Dongguan & Jiangmen is required;
- Participate in other ad hoc projects as assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma holder in purchasing or supply management related discipline;
- At least 5 years or above solid purchasing & related experiences on chemical and packaging products;
- Good in negotiation & communication skill and numerical sense;
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills;
- Mature, independent and self-motivated;
- Good command in Mandarin, English and Cantonese;
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as “Assistant Purchasing Manager”.
