Job Description
Responsibilities
Reporting to senior management, the position will be responsible for all R&D functions of the department with focus on new product introduction and new product features development. It is a very challenging position calling for someone with the most updated market oriented R&D concepts, best team management and a determination to succeed.
- Overall administer R&D and project management including allocation of projects, implementation, monitoring, and follow up
- Assures competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint;
- Actively searches for best-in-class technologies among competitors and develops innovation roadmap;
- Establish standards and practices of R&D and development plan
- Cooperates closely with Sales & Costing team to assure customer focus and target costing; co-develops product roadmaps
- Coordinates product development/ project managers defining the right allocation of the resources
- Any related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Graduate in Product Engineering/ industrial Process Management etc.;
- Minimum 3 years of experience R&D Department, including > 1 years in Garment accessories (different kinds of printing method, high frequency, laser);
- Knowledge in different kinds of mold design;
- Knowledge in costs of different components;
- Costing and budgeting mindset in Product/Project Development;
- Familiar with computer operations development software;
- Team work player internally and across departments;
- Excellent organization and coordination skills;
- Travelling China / Asia is required.

- Capability in managing people and complexity in a multinational environment is needed
- Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions, together with an attitude to measure performances by KPIs
