Requirements :

• 8 years' relevant experience with at least 2 years at managerial level
• Experienced in fabric sourcing and development for woven fabric
• Strong fabric sourcing network
• Sound knowledge of fabric weaving & dyeing
• Experienced in working with fabric mills & garment suppliers for risk assessment on fabric issues & providing technical advices
• Educate mills on the Company’s requirements including quality and process, call out proactively for any potential issues/risks.
• Drive for effective communication between internal partners and mills, ensure that adequate lead-time and price are negotiated and obtained to achieve business objectives.
• Manage timely sample fabric ordering , color and quality approval , bulk lot and test approval to meet all required deadlines.
• Manage seasonal calendars and activities, anticipating obstacles , proactively deliver solutions and drive continuous process improvement.
• Experienced in communication with overseas designers and buyers
• Understand the product, price, production capability and quality performance of different suppliers to help identify suitable suppliers for development.
• Provide advice to internal customers on technical fabric issues (e.g. fabric construction, pricing, quality, lead time, etc.) as needed
• Good presentation, problem-solving and price negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written English & able to communicate in Mandarin
• Follow up production status with fabric suppliers / factories Reply email correspondence in timely manner
• Willing to travel
• Mature, responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Well-versed in computer applications Word , Excel & Chinese Word Processing 
• Manufacturing back ground is an advantage 
• Less experience will also be considered as Assistant Merchandiser
• Immediately available
