Job Description

Responsibilities

Reporting to senior management, the position will be responsible for all R&D functions of the department with focus on new product introduction and new product features development.  It is a very challenging position calling for someone with the most updated market oriented R&D concepts, best team management and a determination to succeed.  

  • Overall administer R&D and project management including allocation of projects, implementation, monitoring, and follow up
  • Assures competitiveness and innovation of products and processes from a technological and design standpoint;
  • Actively searches for best-in-class technologies among competitors and develops innovation roadmap;
  • Establish standards and practices of R&D and development plan
  • Cooperates closely with Sales & Costing team to assure customer focus and target costing; co-develops product roadmaps
  • Coordinates product development/ project managers defining the right allocation of the resources
  • Any related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Graduate in Product Engineering/ industrial Process Management etc.;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience R&D Department, including > 1 years in Garment accessories (different kinds of printing method, high frequency, laser);
  • Knowledge in different kinds of mold design;
  • Knowledge in costs of different components;
  • Costing and budgeting mindset in Product/Project Development;
  • Familiar with computer operations development software;
  • Team work player internally and across departments;
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills;
  • Station in Dongguan is required.

  • Capability in managing people and complexity in a multinational environment is needed
