Job Description

This position plays a leading role in formulating and mapping out innovative marketing campaigns of Mannings Retail, in order to achieve targets on both brand building and sales performance.  At the same time, he/she will be accountable for the marketing communications of Mannings own brands

 The Job

  • Develop marketing campaigns of Mannings retail brand based upon brand positioning and destination, formulate integrated marketing programs for Mannings Retail
  • Cooperate with internal teams to develop innovative, cost-effective marketing programs and related sales promotions in order to draw traffic and sales
  • Seamlessly work with operations departments on the distribution direction, display and merchandising team on category sales promotions
  • Manage advertising, media and PR agency as a team to develop marketing projects. Provide detailed creative and media brief to ensure mutual understanding and effectiveness of project development. Monitor and evaluate agency performance. Report to management on key status
  • Develop digital marketing strategy and content strategy for the brand and marketing programs
  • Map out detailed execution plans and follow through to ensure smooth operation and target achievement, in compliance with company policies, guidelines and budgets
  • Prepare annual budgets, manage and monitor progress, report to management on status
  • Identify opportunities and threat, recommend actions timely to continuously improve brand performance
  • Monitor market intelligence to map out pre-emptive and reaction plan
  • Lead Brand research projects by working with agencies to prepares reports, analysis and commentary for management on top line findings and recommendations
  • Manage marketing communications for Mannings own brands

The Person

  • University graduate in Business Administration, Marketing or any related disciplines
  • Minimum 8-10 years of solid marketing experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong strategic thinking, can understand macro market situation to relate into micro management of the programs
  • Creative mind and attend to details
  • Excellent management skill, on projects of high complexity, in various scales, on different levels, yet in short time frames
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Candidates will less experience will be considered as Brand Manager
